Little Teeny Tigger

Everytime Dylan hears music or is really happy, (which is all the time) he bounces and bounces. We call him little teeny Tigger. We went to Lagoon twice yesterday. We got drenched the first time and had to come home. Dylan heard music and bounced away.

This was Dylan's first time to Lagoon and he really liked it. Jayson already asked if we can go back tomorrow!!!

Sleddin Fun

The kids went sledding with Holli & her kids & had a blast!!!

Jayson is getting big & will even walk back up Rohmer's hill. He is sooo excited & proud that he and Jacob went off a HUGE (according to Jayson) jump!

Red Neckin for Valentines Day

For Valentines Day, we took our kids (Grandma Terry, Jacob, & Jacob's date came too) to Monster Jam, the monster truck show.
Dylan hated it! He cried and cried. We tried earplugs but he pulled them out.
So we bought these lovely monster truck headphones to block the sound (for $20), he hated those just as bad.
Even Jayson thought the show was too long. So after 2 hours and a bazillion dollars, the kids didn't like it. So next year we aren't doing it again.

It's Official! He is Crawling

So it is official. Dylan can crawl. It's funny how it took him 10 months to figure it out, but in a week he is pro & can scramble around the house like he's been crawling forever.

Kristen's Birthday dinner

We went to Red Lobster for Kristen's birthday and it was supposed to be a GNO. However, JayDee & my kids crashed the party. It was still fun, but they didn't have a saddle for Kristen to sit in. We will have to be sure to go back to Texas Roadhouse for Shawna's!!

Baby Dilly

It's funny how Dylan has had trouble sleeping from the beginning. He is sooo cute. He just learned how to crawl and got his first two teeth (at 10 months). Kind of a late bloomer. The nights he has actually slept through the night I could probably count on one hand. Okay, maybe 2 hands, but not many. It's hard to believe that just a few months ago he was this small.

Happy Feelings

Whenever I see this page of Kaitlyn I just have to smile. This was taken on her 6th birthday, so almost a year ago. Time does fly!! She looks so happy. We had just had baby Dylan and it was her birthday & Easter.

Hair - Before & After

BEFORE AFTER

Today I got my hair darkened. I didn't know exactly what to expect &
I think it may be a fun change. Any comments? Kaitlyn said it is ugly, so
don't be afraid to tell me how you really feel!!

Kaitlyn - Fashion Diva

Kaitlyn has started to really get into picking out her clothes including all assessories. She loves this new dress, and
couldn't decide which hair thing she liked best. She is getting too big. Every morning it's a challenge to get
her ready unless I concede, and let her chose somethings for herself. She doesn't like to be told what see will
wear and how she will have her done. So for know, we take turns, but I can't wait until she can do her hair by herself.

A-HA!!

Kaitlyn & Jayson have just discovered the fun of home science projects.

We decided to mix Citric Acid with Baking Soda & Water.

I forgot to mention food coloring.

They think it made volcanoes and alot of FUN, while I think it made a mess.

The Card Crew

Every weekend for a few months we get together with our neighbors Monty & Lisa Huntsman and play games. We always play Golf (a few different versions) and sometimes throw in a few other games (Cranium, 5 Crowns, etc.) We change it up and invite different people but it's always pretty fun!!

So much for staying current

I don't know why I can't update this more often. We are constantly taking photos but I just don't take the 5 minutes to upload the pictures. One of my goals for 2009 is to update this blog with pictures at least once a week. So for the record, this post doesn't count. Let's see how I do!
